First time using this in class today with my seventh grader's and a student asked," Can we read more stories like this"?

I am a substitute teacher and I love this site already and I just started.

great help thank you

These paired text lessons look great! One question - are the books meant to be for the teacher to read aloud or does each student have their own copy? Thanks!

We recommend that teachers read the book aloud to the students and then complete the read-aloud lesson. Then, for the paired text lesson, the teacher can either read the passage out loud and discuss the questions whole-class, or have the students read it themselves and answer the questions in small groups or independently.
