I'm really impressed with this unit because it uses "14 Cows," a title listed in Appendix B, Text Exemplars for grades 2-3. Thank you!
I have tried only one unit 14 Cows for America. My students were familiar with the story and seemed to enjoy the rich discussion that took place after reading the other non fiction text that accompanied it. Please keep them coming. I love these especially for students who do not like to read long books or those with short attention spans.
These are wonderful units. I sure like that everything for the lessons are easily accessible. Thanks. and Yes, keep them coming!!!
I just so happened to come upon your website a few weeks ago. I was able to do the unit on 14 Cows for America the week of 9/11. I love this unit!!! I can't wait to get started on the other units. I just hope you keep writing them, because these are the best units I have located that meet Common Core Standards!! Keep them coming!!!
